Survey on "What do Women and Men in Hong Kong Think About the Status of Women at Home, Work and in Social Environments?"
With a view to understanding the current status of women and different perceptions between women and men towards women's status in the aspects of family contribution, economic participation and community engagement in Hong Kong, a large-scale survey was commissioned by the Women's Commission between February and May 2010. A total of 3 002 Hong Kong residents within a scientifically selected sample were successfully enumerated by means of face-to-face interviews. The survey covered women's status, role, division of work and development opportunity, in the contexts of family, economic and social environments.
